This article explains how device feature states are mapped to five priority levels. Each level represents the severity of the detected condition and the corresponding recommended action.
| Priority | Criteria | Color Code | Recommended Action |
|---|---|---|---|
| No (5) | Normal operating status. No issues detected. | 🟩 Green | No action required. |
| Low (4) | The Wheel End feature reports No Data, typically due to a newly installed device or insufficient data history. | ⬜ Grey | Inform the user and continue monitoring until sufficient data becomes available. |
| Medium (3) | The Battery Level feature reports a Low Battery status. | 🟧 Orange | Service will be required soon. Schedule maintenance in the near term. |
| High (2) | A Wheel End Failure is detected, or the Wheel End Monitoring or Temperature Sensor reports a fault. | 🟥 Red | Complete the current route if safe to do so. Arrange inspection and corrective service before the next journey. |
| Critical (1) | A Temperature Warning is triggered. This warning is dependent on implementation by the TSP and is not generated directly by the device. | 🟥 Red | Stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so and resolve the issue immediately before continuing. |
⚠Important – Limitation of Liability
SKF accepts no liability if an alarm is triggered without corresponding wheel-end damage, or if an alarm is not triggered — or is delayed — despite damage having occurred.
