To manage TraX devices (e.g., commissioning or flashing firmware), a user must:
- Have an account in the SKF Platform (Enlight Centre), and
- Be granted access to the relevant vehicle(s) where the devices are, or will be, installed.
How to create a new user
Steps
- Open the User Admin tab in the SKF Platform (Enlight Centre) website.
- Click Create User (top-right corner).
- Enter the required user details:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- (and any other required fields)
- Under User Access → Apps and Devices, select the TraX checkbox.
- Click Save (bottom-right corner) to create the user.
After Creation
- The user will receive a welcome email from SKF.
- They must follow the link in the email to set their password within three days.
Access to Fleets
- The user will gain access to the relevant fleet(s), typically within 60 minutes *.
Note
* Fleet access depends on whether the Telematics Service Provider (TSP) has implemented the Installer Onboarding feature and configured an access rule that grants the user the appropriate permissions.
Access can also be assigned and adjusted individually for each user on a case-by-case basis by SKF support in collaboration with the relevant TSP.
